Kimberly Blanton
Kimberly Blanton created and now writes the blog, Squared Away: Financial Behavior: Work, Save, Retire, and researched and wrote the field report, Financial Literacy on the Web. As a veteran reporter, previously for The Boston Globe, The Economist, The Dallas Times Herald and other publications, she specialized in covering domestic and international finance and economics. The Columbia Journalism Review cited her coverage of the subprime mortgage crisis for being in the vanguard of national media. She has a master’s degree in economics from Indiana University in Bloomington.
